The Womba was invited to be part of the Next Gen Innovators Showcase at the ASTech Awards Ceremony in Edmonton on Oct 29.  We generated a lot of interest and questions, and even an impromptu live demonstration on an expecting mom!  It was great to have with me this kiddo who inspired it all.

It was an uplifting day being part of the TEDxCalgary Interactions alongside many other creative projects and inspiring speakers. Thanks to all who completed our market survey. We are taking the results to try to improve the design of future Womba prototypes and products.

The Womba made an appearance at the 2016 MakeFashion show at Telus Spark on April 2. It fit right in with all the lovely glowing LED dresses!

On February 11, the word of Womba got out to loads of science-lovers! We were asked to bring the Womba to the "Let's Get Physical" Adults Only Night at Telus Spark Science Centre, which ended up being their biggest Adults Only night yet, with about 2050 visitors. Thanks to all who visited us!
